Boubakr Nour is currently a Security Researcher at Ericsson Research (Montreal, Canada). He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) associated with Ericsson Montreal. Prior to that, Dr. Nour worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Université de Sherbrooke (Sherbrooke, Canada). Dr. Nour received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology (Beijing, China) in 2020. He received both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees with distinction in Computer Science from Djillali Liabes University (Sidi Bel Abbes, Algeria), in 2016, and 2014 respectively. Also, he has been a visiting researcher at Paris Descartes University (Paris, France) in 2016.

Dr. Nour received Mitacs Elevate Fellowship in 2022, the Best Paper Award of the IEEE GLOBECOM in 2018. He is also the recipient of the Excellent Student Award at the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2017, 2018, and 2019, consecutively.

Dr. Nour has been an editorial member of different Special Issues with top-ranked journals such as Future Generation Computer Systems (Elsevier), Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (Wiley), and Frontiers in Communications and Networks (Frontiers). He is an active IEEE member and serving several reputed conferences and journals as a TPC and Reviewer respectively, including IEEE Communications Magazine, Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICC, and IEEE VTC. Dr. Nour's research interests include Next-Generation Networking and Internet, Information-Centric Networking (ICN), Named Data Networks (NDN), Mobile/Edge Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Wireless Sensor Networks.
